Small Groups
At SonRise, spiritual and relational growth is encouraged in many ways. Two types of "Small Groups" offered at SonRise are H.O.M.E. Groups and L.E.A.F. Groups. We encourage each adult to be involved in a H.O.M.E. Group as well as join a L.E.A.F. Group as appropriate to your life.

Fellowship Groups
These small groups meet in homes on a regular basis for friendship, prayer support, and Bible study. You are encouraged to contact the SonRise church office at 480-502-2834 to connect with a Fellowship Group.

H.O.M.E. Groups
What? Every person at SonRise is encouraged to participate in our foundational groups called H.O.M.E. groups. These groups are continuous, ongoing groups that meet weekly. H.O.M.E. groups meet throughout the week in homes, restaurants and at church.
Purpose: to grow healthy spiritual lives by building a healthy small group community. H.O.M.E. groups desire to create an atmosphere that fosters personal, emotional, relational, and spiritual growth. To sum up H.O.M.E. groups in one word: RELATIONSHIPS!

L.E.A.F. Groups
What? In addition to attending a H.O.M.E. group, SonRise offers L.E.A.F. groups. This is a discipleship group or class that comes together for a certain period of time to study a certain topic or part of the Bible. Just like a leaf on a tree, these groups meet only for a "season" or shorter period of time. L.E.A.F. groups meet, normally once a week, often on Sunday morning to go through one study/topic.book together.
Purpose: L.E.A.F. groups are a way to enhance spiritual growth on a "study by study" basis. These "elective" groups range in size, variation, topic/book of study and are dynamic.
